The course will introduce various remote sensing applications for natural resources management and environmental sciences. Students will learn how to apply remote sensing data and techniques to different environmental problems (defining a research problem, choosing and processing relevant remotely sensed and ancillary data, and synthesizing the results). The course will be organized as a series of lectures providing real-world examples from different fields of environmental applications of remote sensing techniques.
