Topic outline
General info
The course will cover various aspects of bioremediation and phytoremediation. The questions related the use of plants and their associated microorganisms utilized with the purpose to environmentally clean-up of the contaminated sites will be introduced. The overviewing of phytoremediation and phytomining will be done including the analytical methods utilized. The scientific background of biological elimination of the different types of existing contaminants will be overviewed. Real practical application of the bioremediation/phytoremediation to site’s revitalization will be introduced.
